I think often, we as a culture, stop paying attention to the details. I have been trying to find happiness is all of my little tasks and ventures. I am trying not to wish away my days anymore. If I am going to work I bring my camera or phone and take pictures along the way. I really think that if everyone slowed down just a little bit we would all really enjoy life a little more.

Work. School. Work. Sleep?
Yeah, same old story been busy! But I did find time to go on a shoot with this lovely lady.
Fall has happened upon us fast and Christmas will be here in a blink!
Time to start thinking about gift giving(crafting) and family get togethers.
I really plan to start posting more and shooting more!

This is just a sneak peak into my photo project I'm working on this summer;
A Study in Textures in the not so likely of places.

Most of this images are buildings, and streets.

South through Ohio, Down to West Virginia.

Nicholas and I rarely do much, let alone go on trips. 

It almost seemed like something completely impossible to us.

We have a rickety car, and barely have gas to make it around Grand Rapids.

BUT

We decided we had to do it.

We have to do something!

Nick has some friends (whom he never met) living in Toledo. 

We met up with them and they took us to Point Pleasant, West Virginia.

Ya know that movie with Richard Gere and the Mothman ( it totally scared me)...

we went there.

& that was the mothman festival
